An agricultural building imposes a constraint a commercial roof does not: the activity inside is sensitive and does not stop. The flight was coordinated with the hatchery operators so as not to disturb the working routine or the animals.
The roofs themselves are long with a uniform pitch · apparently simple, and precisely for that reason any deviation in measurement translates straight into a whole row of panels. The survey included high-resolution orthophoto capture and exact marking of protrusions and obstructions on each roof.
The output fed the layout planning, and a 220kW DC system was subsequently installed on the hatchery. The post-installation aerials document that system in place on the roof we measured.
