Surveying 12 educational institutions in one city is as much a logistics project as an engineering one. Each site needs its own coordination with the institution and the municipality, and a flight window that does not collide with the children's day.
Safety was the deciding constraint. We flew in narrow windows, keeping careful distance from adjacent tall buildings that change how the wind behaves over the roofs · a real constraint that dictates both flight height and route.
Every institution received the full package: orthophoto, 3D model, SketchUp model and AutoCAD drawings with roof dimensions, heights and obstruction clearances · one consistent format across all 12 sites.
