Menora Arena is the home of Israeli sport's biggest nights. Surveying it was a particular pleasure · it is not every day you measure a building every child in the country recognises instantly.
The roof is two entirely different levels. A concrete ring loaded with HVAC units and services, and above it a copper roof with a curved section on the north-south axis. Both were needed precisely for the solar layout to be buildable.
The survey combined passes from every direction with vertical orthophoto capture, and from those we produced a 3D model, AutoCAD drawings with dimensions and heights, and every object on the concrete ring marked.
